Every year my husband’s family plans a family reunion and I give everyone the gift of family portraits. I became a family portrait photographer because I love capturing families. There isn’t anything better than capturing those closest to me. This year we all traveled to Bear Lake, UT and it was breathtakingly gorgeous there. If I didn’t hate the snow so much I would seriously consider moving there. The weather was perfect, which was a nice break from the suffocating Las Vegas heat. Pictures were originally planned for the first night of the reunion but everything was super stressful with trying to get to the cabin, setting up, eating dinner and getting ready for pictures that we postponed pictures for the last night of the reunion.
Being a family photographer I photograph a variety of ages, teenagers are some of my favorites. One of the things I love about photographing teenagers is that they are so easy to photograph! Seriously, this portrait session was 15 minutes tops because they knew how to rock a session!
I love these girls more than words can express. Life hasn’t always been kind to them yet they persevere. They have a unique family situation and it has been a blessing seeing them together and grow closer over the years. They are kind, loving and thoughtful of others. Not to mention completely gorgeous! The lighting was so incredibly gorgeous for this session! The wind was wild during this session, which for some of the girls was a blessing and for others it was quite the struggle!
Aren’t these girls so gorgeous?
