I know I say this every day, but I can’t believe we are already on page 17 of our Gratitude Journal! Time goes by so fast and this week is a crazy busy one for me! Busy is good though, right?
I love today’s quote –
“We can choose to be grateful, no matter what!”
Dieter F. Uchtdorf
That is the motto of my life. I have seen A LOT of ugliness in my life. I have seen A LOT of injustices and cruelty. I have experienced abuse, poverty, low self worth, eating disorders, grief, betrayal, and heartache. I have endured enough in my lifetime to warrant me to be a depressed, pessimistic woman and if you knew my story, you would say I was completely justified.
But here’s the thing, I have also seen kindness, justice and charity. I have felt true unconditional love, genuine happiness, wealth, acceptance, kindness, joy, peace, forgiveness, and the warmth of friendship. I have felt enough goodness in my life to show me that no matter what hardship or trial I am going through there is ALWAYS something to grateful for, it all boils down to our choice on what we want to focus on.
It is our choice to be happy and grateful, no matter what!
And now I will step off my soapbox 🙂
Today’s page is a simple one. I am going to glue a pretty orange ribbon in between the two pages for a frilly look. All you need to do is print and cut then pick out your favorite ribbon! Glue your ribbon down first and then adhere the pages together to sandwich it in between the pages.
I hope you love the page! In case you have missed the previous pages of the gratitude journal here are the links for them,
Just a reminder these pages are free only through the month of November and then they will be placed in my shop! I would love for you to spread the word but please do not share the files, just send them here and they can get the files for themselves!
